To enter a Rogaine you must be a member of a Rogaining Association to cover insurance costs and the Australian Rogaining Association levy, which are charged to ACTRA (and other states) on a calendar year basis.

From 2019, ACTRA will be incorporating membership costs into event entry, so there will be no need to apply for or renew an individual membership.

Policy on junior competitors at ACTRA rogaines Print E-mail

The ACTRA Committee has set a policy on junior competitors at rogaines to ensure the safety of all members of teams with junior members.

1.     The Australian Rogaining Association rule will be abided by:

R2. A team that has a member under 14 years of age shall also have a member eighteen years of age or over.

2.     In addition, we strongly advise that any team that has a member under 14 years of age should also have two members of eighteen years of age or over.

This is to cater for the possibility that, in a team with one or more young children and only one adult, the children might be put in a position of unacceptable risk if a serious injury (e.g. snakebite, head injury) occurred to the single adult.  If you still wish to enter a team with junior members and a sole adult, please advise the event administrator.
