2011 ACTRA AGM report Print E-mail

The Annual General Meeting of ACTRA was held at the Hash House at the end of the Paddy Pallin 6 hour event at Rob Roy at 4:20PM on Sunday 5 March.

President's Report

The President reported that during 2010 ACTRA had run the slightly modified 6 event program, the modification being mainly due to hosting the Australian Championships early in the year.  He thanked all those who had been involved in organising, setting, or otherwise assisting with these events, noting that it was good to see the number of non-committee members involved in these tasks.  He went on to say that the committee intended to run a similar program again this year, and encouraged all attending to visit the website for details of these events.  He then spoke about the purchase of Navlight with the assistance of ACT Sport & Rec, the small operating loss from last year indicating that entry fees were being set at the lowest possible level, and his hope for more non-committee members to be involved in event administration and course setting.  Finally, he thanked the out-going committee for their work and support of the previous year, and then specifically named and thanked the three members not seeking re-election.

There were exactly six nominations to fill the six available Ordinary Committee member positions:
