Australian Rogaining Championships 2012 |
|
Congratulations to Sarah Buckerfield and Ben Greenwood who won the mixed open and Australian University Championships titles for 2012.
The ACT, and the Australian National University, took out the top three places in the Australian University Rogaining Champs with Sarah and Ben in first, Phillip Gatt and Thomas Brazier in second, and Galen Correy and Oliver Lee in third. Well done.
The event was well run by the South Australians and they had certainly chosen a beautiful spot to show off the best rogaining country in the Flinders Ranges.

The ACT Champs and 8-hr event lived up to the promises from course setters Jean Douglass and Ron Simpson. It was a beautiful area perfect for rogaining with open tree cover with little undergrowth and good spur-gully country to keep the navigation interesting. Two teams saw a koala.
Congratulations to the 8hr winners. The team of Martin Dearnley, Louise Dearnley, Graham Field, and Tristan White won overall.
