Night winners

The moon shone brightly on the 86 folks who ventured out into Kowen Forest and Sparrow Hill for the nightgaine.  Kathy and Anne (sole entants last year) had some stiff competition, although they won the women's supevets category with Parissa's help.  Craig Cowan (alias Kowen) and Paul Imhoff were the overall winners with 1550 points (pictured right).

All categories were well represented especially the families with 7 year old Callum Roberts pushing his aunt and uncle around to win.

Barkley controlOn Sunday cyclists and walkers enjoyed the same course, with some of the night teams coming back to see it in the daylight!  Jonathan Miller and David Poland were overall winners of the foot event with 1780 points while Michael Reed and Kieran Denny visited most of the controls and won the cycle event with 2440 points.  Well done everyone.

The mushrooms put on a wonderful display and the weather was just right.  Barkley had a great adventure with Ryan and Geoff (see the report, Ryan and Barkley pictured left) and the photos in the photo gallery.  A very big thank you to all the volunteers who made this event possible.
