Spring was the weather for rogainers in the Bondo State Forest with a thunderstorm in the middle of the 6 hr event. Fortunately, the sun had come out again by 5 pm so the 12 hr teams had a dry evening. A great course was set by Laure, Pierre-Dominique, Kieran, Clare, Aaron, Dane, Jean and Ron taking in the wonderful eucalypt forest complete with large trees, wombat holes, lyrebird mounds and flowing creeks. Congratulations to 6 hr winners Tess Noble and Jackson Bursill and 12 hr winners David Baldwin and Julie Quinn. Category winners and navlight routes are on the event page.
Control collectors are needed. Please contact Dane if you can help.

Entries are now open for the 2016 World Rogaining Championships
We strongly recommend you enter early to have the best chance of participating in the 2016 World Rogaining Championships, in the spectacular East MacDonnell Ranges, and entries are now open.
Spring 6/12 hour event: Saturday 31 October: registrations open!
Spring into Bondo State Forest for the 6 hour or 12 hour rogaine. It is all in native forest and the local brumbies have made some wonderful tracks for you. The HH is centrally located and there are plenty of camping spaces. It’s about a 2 hour drive west of Canberra. We would love you to stay overnight. Why not enjoy the campfire and Hartley food and help collect controls the next morning? Riding brumbies on the course is allowed however you must stay with your Bond 00 team mates. Miss Moneypenny at the admin tent will give you extra points if you take the brumby home with you.
