ACTRA Cycle And Foot Rogaine
Bike 6 hour
Foot 6 hour
Sunday 29th May 2005 9.30am - 3.30pm
The course is in and around the beautiful town of Tumut, nestled in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains, 2 hours drive from Canberra and 4.5 hours from Sydney. While some of the course takes in historic sites in the township itself, the bulk of the event is in the neighbouring eucalypt forest. With the altitude varying from 250 to 800m, there are some quad-busting hills on the course to challenge the strongest riders. However there also plenty of less extreme alternatives and many beautiful views to be enjoyed from the higher parts of the course.
